Separator between the marker and the user’s own description text.

A single space, not a newline: storage_mentat’s EDN writer emits \n as a two-character escape that Mentat’s reader does not interpret, so a newline does not survive a save/reload at all (it comes back as a bare n, silently corrupting the text). A space round-trips exactly. The marker is bracket-delimited so the boundary is unambiguous without needing a character the store cannot carry.
