A parsed measure definition — either an ordinary formula or a source form
(SQL("...") / CALL(fn, m1, m2, ...)) that describes a host-side source
rather than a differential-dataflow expression. Source forms carry the
metadata a refresh consumes; they never enter the engine’s expression graph,
preserving the deterministic core.
Variants§
Formula(FormulaText)
Target = <expr> — an ordinary engine formula.
Sql
Target = SQL("<query>") — a SQL-sourced input measure. The query is the
raw string; column→dimension mapping is the caller’s concern.
Call
Target = CALL(func, arg_measure, ...) — an external-function measure.
func is the registered function name; args are the argument measure
names (resolved to ids by the caller against the model).
Lambda(LambdaText)
Name = LAMBDA(p, …, body) — a named LAMBDA (Excel’s Name Manager),
callable as Name(args) in formulas once added to the model.
